Dues for American Legion members are going up in membership year 2025.
Per-capita dues will increase from $18.50 to $23.50. The $5 increase will go into effect July 1, 2024. Also affecting the cost is the portion retained by the Kentucky Department. State Commander Robert “Skip” Kraemer, in a Jan. 10 email to district commanders, advised that the total amount going to the national and state organizations will total $38.
That is the current rate for Post 236 members, which means that without an increase, the Post will get nothing from annual renewals.
